Comparative Pathology: Hereditary Multiple Exostosis

Chondrosarcomas occur in mice with conditional inactivation of the gene, exostoses (multiple) 1 (Ext1) and in some varieties of CD1 and NOD mice. This image shows a tibial lesion with ample chondroblasts.
